Splash Pad

We went to play at a park with a splash pad today.
The big boys had fun, even though it was super slippery.
Mas is still a little unsteady on his feet, so he preferred the sandbox.

I asked Adam if he is a baby or a big kid.

"I a baby kid."

Frankenbaby Walks

Playing with Our Cousins

The boys and cousins Madalyn and Carter had the run of the place.
I'm not sure why some of my pics are coming out turned the wrong way...

Potty Training

So, of course, Adam was just hanging out in his underpants.

Milestones

Mason is walking a lot now. He has a funny, stiff little walk that Daddy says makes him look a bit like Frankenstein, but he's learning.

Adam is doing a great job potty training and should be ready in time for preschool in September.

In the Middle of Things

Taking a rest and reading a book, right on top of the laundry that Mommy is trying to fold. He's so cute that he's forgiven.

Vacation Pictures Coming...

But, we have to work out a slight glitch with our computer first.

Highlights like Jack showing Mickey Mouse his Mickey Mouse underwear during a parade, Adam attacking Minnie Mouse, Mason dancing with some random woman during a show, Jack asking someone if his arms and legs come off, Adam almost breaking Handy Manny's toolbelt to try to see if there were any tools in there, the look on Jack's face when we were on the Tower of Terror, random people taking pics of Mason b/c he's just so darn cute....all coming up.

Going Back

The boys turned Adam's bed into a boat and said they were using it to take them back to Disney World.

And, We're Home!

Bye, NC!

We met Grandma for breakfast before we started the long trip back home.

Our Day in NC

Daddy went golfing with Uncle Chris in the morning, so the boys, Grandma, and I tried to go to the park. It was so hot that it made us miss Florida. We were all disgustingly hot after about 15 minutes.
So, we headed to Chuck E. Cheese instead.
Grandma playing air hockey with Jackie

We went to the movies to see Ice Age 3 after lunch.
Later, Grandma watched the boys so that Jamie and I could go out to dinner to celebrate my birthday, which was the next day; we were going to be spending my whole birthday driving so we celebrated early.
When we got back to our hotel room, all 3 boys were already asleep. Thank you, Grandma!

Driving Day

We left Disney Thursday morning and drove to NC. Orlando to Jacksonville, NC took us about 10 hours. Mason and Jack were ready for bed, so I stayed in the hotel room with them while Daddy and Adam went out to dinner with Grandma and Uncle Chris.

Rain

There was a bad storm as we were leaving, so they gave us ponchos. We could have stayed for the fireworks show, but that didn't sound like fun in the rain. We took the bus home instead.

We could see the fireworks again from our hotel room, though.

More Character Pics

After the show, Donald, Goofy, Pluto, Mickey, and Minnie stuck around for pictures. We skipped Mickey and Minnie since we had already met them at the welcome dinner.

Farewell Dinner and Show at Epcot

For our last night in Disney, we walked over to Epcot for a dinner show. That's our hotel behind Jackie and me.
It's all of us! As Jackie would say, "Red people, let's roll!"

Arriving at Epcot. Adam fell asleep shortly after this. All that swimming caught up with him.
They had lots of different activities for the kids. Here's Jack's spin art and sand art.

Mommy got one, too
More facepainting
Adam woke up once we went into the dining room and thought it was too loud
Mason, loving some dessert
The start of the show. The kids all sat right in front of the stage and got to see tons of Disney characters.

Yay, great show!

Stormalong Bay

We spent the morning and most of the afternoon at Stormalong Bay, a really nice pool/waterpark at our hotel. This is the pool that the boys spent the most time in. The deepest it was came up to Adam's shoulders, so the boys were able to have free run of the pool.
Mason liked the pool, too. He did take a break from it in the afternoon, though, taking a nap in the hotel room while Daddy got some work done.

Jack preferred playing in the sand.
Grammy and Papa with the boys
Back in the water! Adam was a fish this day. He pretty much taught himself to swim by the end of the day. The only time he got out of the pool was to eat lunch.
Daddy and Mas in the lazy river

There's my fish!
Jackie going down the little slide. The boys went on this countless times and loved it...until they discovered that if you go up those extra sets of stairs behind the little slide, you could go down a big, twisty, speed slide.
Adam's turn
Getting the boys back over to the stairs for their next turn
Daddy and I or Papa and I took turns going on the big slide with the boys. One of us would go first, to be at the bottom to catch the boys, while the other sent the boys down and followed them down.
You are supposed to come down feet first, lying on your back, arms crossed. The boys tried to come down sitting up; sometimes it worked and sometimes it didn't.
In this next pic, Adam ended up on his belly, face first. But, even as his face hit the water and was distorting his words, I could still make out him saying "AGAIN!!!"

Adam, finally tired enough to get out of the pool and off the slides
After this, Grammy and Papa left for the airport while the rest of us went to our room to get ready for our farewell dinner show.
