Little Boys at the Park

Jackie was at VBS this morning, so the little boys went to the park to play. Adam played in the sand and built sandcastles.
Mason just likes the swings.
Adam ran around the bases on the baseball field. He made it around 5 times, but on his sixth trip around, he stopped on second base and announced, "I tired, I go home base now."

Won't Stop Climbing!

Mason can climb up on all the furniture now, so he does it all the time. He has yet to master climbing down without falling, so he keeps Mama on her toes.

Bouncin', Bouncin', Bouncin'

We went to a playplace today that had all sorts of inflatables for the boys to play on. Zach and Benny, who, according to Jack, "we should have always known them," met us there. The boys had fun climbing, jumping, sliding, and playing with everything they found.

In the Stands

Annabelle came to the game with Grammy and Papa. She was tired and ready for the game to be over quickly. She did better than Adam, though. Adam fell asleep in the stroller on the way to the game and is still sleeping now, probably out for the night.

Last T-ball Game of the Season

There was some helmet switching going on- the blue one is apparently the must-have helmet of the season.

VBS Program

Jackie went to VBS at a church near our house this week. This morning, the kids sang some of the songs for the parents and showed us the different things they did this week. We had heard all about Paul and the underground church, as well as all about the "coolest cave."

Big Boy Carseat

Aviary

We went to the Aviary this afternoon with Grammy and Annabelle.

Cousin Annabelle fits right in with my boys. We had a 4, 3, (almost)2, and a 1 year old with us.
The boys liked the penguins the best.
Feeling penguin feathers
Mason was keeping us on schedule.
Jack didn't like most of the birds, but this one was okay, since it obviously couldn't eat him.

Baby Tunnel

Up in the Toy Room

Heading upstairs to "the toy room" to play. A very rare occurrence. Usually, that's where we keep some of the boys' toys so that all of them aren't downstairs at once; they don't actually play up there. But, since it was a rainy day and the boys needed something to occupy them, they headed up for a change of pace.
Taking all the toys off the shelf...
so that Adam can have a place to nap.

I asked the boys if they wanted to go back downstairs. Adam's face pretty much says it all.

PB&J Taxes

Jackie is at VBS at a church up the street from our house this week. They have to pay taxes to the Roman soldiers tomorrow in the form of a food item for the church's food bank.

But, Jack is insisting that he asked one of the soldiers and the soldier wants a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.
