Happy Birthday, Carter!

Today was Carter's first birthday party. The little cowboy was busy being held by everyone all day, so I'm going to have to get a pic of him on here later.

KidQuest Sunday

Some of the kids who went to KidQuest performed some of the songs they learned this week in church this morning. Jack is in the second row, just to the right of the mic stand.

Jack went to KidQuest this week, our church's camp/VBS-type event, this week. He had a blast! This was his last day, though he keeps asking if he gets to go back again. "Next year" is not really the answer he is looking for.

One Year Check-Up

Mason had his one year check-up today. He is 20lb 5oz and 29.5in long. He also has an ear infection and still has the fever that he woke up with Sunday night, so no shots for him today.

Birthday Ice Cream

The boys, Grammy, and I went to Bruster's to get ice cream to celebrate Mason's birthday. At first, he looked to be thinking, "What is this stuff? Where's my CAKE?"

But, he ended up liking it.

Jack and Adam needed no encouragement to dig right in. The guy who made Jack's cone was very generous with the scoops and Adam tried to eat some of Jack's after he was done with his own. Jack's was so big we ended up having to put it in a bowl. I told Adam he could have one bite, so he LOADED up the spoon for his "one" bite.

End of the Year Picnic

There was an all-school picnic today to celebrate the end of the school year. We went to the park and the kids watched a magic show.

Building Bears

I took Adam and Mason to Build-a-Bear to pick out bears for their birthdays. Adam made Mason's, but told me he didn't want to make one for himself. Though, after he was done stuffing Mason's bear, he wanted one. He walked back over to the wall of bears and said, "THERE'S my bear." Guess I hadn't asked him if he wanted that one.

Jack was playing at a friend's house, so luckily there was no argument about why he didn't get a birthday bear.
