Christmas Pics

I took all three boys to get their Christmas pics taken today. They looked so cute in their pjs and I picked the perfect time of day, in between Mason's naps and after the boys had eaten their lunch. But, like it would ever be easy to get a 4 year old, a 2 1/2 year old, and a 6 month old together in a single picture. I almost think it shouldn't be attempted by baby bunchers.

Mason was all smiles, except for in one pic- I'll get to that one in a second.

When the photographer tried to get Jack to sit a certain way at the beginning, he told her NO and covered his face with his hands. He absolutely refused to do anything that was asked of him. Apparently, Adam felt like I did about the situation. He said "Bad Jackie," then leaned down and BIT JACK ON THE NECK. Yes, just like a little vampire. That, of course, sent Jack into a fit of tears.

Meanwhile, Adam found a soccer balland refused to let go of it. I knew better than to even try to get him to put it down. This will make the third set of pics in a row where Adam is holding a ball of some sort in all the shots. Oh well, at least it matched his pjs. Besides, since he decided that it was great fun to run behind the backdrop every two shots or so, I figured a soccer ball was the least of my worries.

The only shot where Mason doesn't have a huge grin on his face is the ONLY one where both Jack and Adam are looking at the camera with an expression on their faces that is somewhat fit to be hung on the wall. So, here's the one that I picked:

I was really tempted to choose this next pic, because it showed their personalities so well. Mason, happy as can be. Adam, holding a soccer ball and blowing a raspberry at the camera. Jack, acting like monkey. It shows what my boys are really like.

I don't think I'll attempt to get another shot of all three of them together until next Christmas. The gray hairs I got just from today's adventure are enough for a while.
